Time: about 15–20 minutes for the activity.
Skills you will learn: Students learn to differentiate between homogeneous and heterogeneous mixtures effectively. Additionally, students understand the differences among solutions, colloids, and suspensions.
Teachers note: Students practice distinguishing between homogeneous and heterogeneous mixtures. They identify solutions, colloids, and suspensions based on characteristics. This 15–20 minute activity can be done in class or as homework.

How to play

Level 1 : Click and drag examples of homogeneous and heterogeneous mixtures into their individual shelves.
Level 2: Match mixture type with its example.
