About the game

The game is about classification of mixtures into homogeneous and heterogeneous mixtures and examples from everyday life.
Grades: 7 & 8
Time: 15 – 20 mins
Skill you will learn: Ability to differentiate between homogeneous and heterogeneous mixtures. Also understand the differences between solutions, colloids and suspensions.
Teachers Note: Students can practice distinguishing homogeneous and heterogeneous mixtures. They have to identify solutions/colloids/suspensions based on characteristics. It is a fun and engaging 15-20 mins activity or homework assignment.

How to play

Level 1 : Click and drag examples of homogeneous and heterogeneous mixtures into their individual shelves.
Level 2: Match mixture type with its example.
Level 3 : Select two examples of solution/colloid/suspension out of mixture bottles placed on the shelves.
Level 4: Select a mixture bottle whose contents have the characteristic property asked in the question.
